About Raise
Raise is a curated, continuously enriched database of early-stage venture funds and investors, built by Fusion42 for founders raising pre-seed to Series A.
Most investor directories are broad and static — a phone book of everyone who has ever invested. Raise is different: it focuses on who just raised and has fresh capital to deploy right now, tracking each fund’s stage focus, sectors, geographies, cheque sizes and partners, refreshed daily from primary sources and enriched with AI. The goal is simple — help founders reach the investors who are actively writing cheques today, not scroll stale lists.
Who’s behind it
Raise is built by Derek Watson, founder of Fusion42 — a platform dedicated to making the startup and investor ecosystem transparent and accessible for early-stage founders. Fusion42 also runs Scout, its live intelligence feed of newly funded startups.
