Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0

A government-backed fund of funds initiative to channel capital via Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) to support early-stage startups and catalyze private investment.

Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 (FoF 2.0) is a ₹10,000 crore government-backed initiative managed by SIDBI that invests in SEBI-registered Category I and II AIFs, which in turn fund DPIIT-recognized startups, acting as a catalyst to mobilize private capital with mandates for minimum private co-investment. It emphasizes deep-tech sectors like AI, robotics, biotech, and innovation-led manufacturing, while supporting early to growth-stage funding across India. A portion of returns is reinvested into ecosystem development such as mentorship and infrastructure.
